Degree Admissions:

To get admitted to a first-degree program, you must meet the following minimal requirements:

  • A candidate must have completed FOUR approved courses and obtained a Certificate of Secondary Education (C.S.E.E.) or its equivalent before taking the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (A.C.S.E.E.) or a similar test.
  • At least two principal-level passes and a total of four or more points (where A = 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1, and S = 0.5) in approved topics are required for the Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (A.C.S.E.E.).
  • Similar qualifications are allowed, such as normal or advanced degrees or certificates that fulfill the program’s standards and have a GPA of at least three.

Postgraduate Diploma Awards:

To be eligible for admission to the postgraduate diploma, a candidate must have earned a first degree from this institution, any other accredited university, or both, and have fulfilled the requirements for the award of a degree with a GPA of at least 2.0.

Master’s Awards:

To be considered for admission to a master’s program, an applicant must have a first degree from this university or any other accredited university and a GPA of at least 2.7.

PhD Awards:

To be considered for admission to the PhD program, a candidate must hold a Master’s degree from this university or any other authorized university with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

All fees and other financial commitments are the sole responsibility of the student and their sponsor or legal guardian. When HESLB is the sponsor, these loans must be processed in accordance with the guidelines that the Loans Board periodically issues.
