Principle Responsibilities:

  • Handling merchant recruitment, Lipa Hapa, and end-to-end consumer acquisition
  • Developing, carrying out, and overseeing marketing campaigns, distribution and expansion plans, sales strategies, and CRDB Wakala and merchant budgets
  • Zones and branches should receive the required training and assistance to guarantee that they acquire customers through agents and agent workers (freelancers).
  • Communicating with branch managers and zonal relationship managers regarding the orientation of new potential agents in the zone while guaranteeing adherence to KYC laws and business needs
  • Support area for obtaining new business prospects, starting product ideas and business cases for Agency Banking value-added services, and obtaining required internal bank approval.
  • overseeing the product and agency banking and merchant tool troubleshooting training for agents, employees, and the field team.

Qualifications Required:

  • A master’s degree in a similar discipline, such as an MBA, is an added benefit, as is a university degree or comparable advanced diploma, ideally in business administration, banking, accounting, finance, or any other business-related field.
  • It will be advantageous to have prior experience with field operations on agent network institutions, FMCG sales, direct sales operations, data analysis, and execution.
  • At least five years of experience with a track record of demonstrating a thorough understanding of MFS/MNO Sales, Agency Banking, Merchant, Customer Growth, Financial Inclusion, and Digital Products and Financial Services.
