To join our team, we are seeking an HR assistant. The ideal applicant will be well-organized, meticulous, and have outstanding communication skills in addition to HR expertise.
HR Assistant Duties:
- Performs exit and orientation interviews and delivers personnel-related data upon management’s request.
- Offers guidance and information on hiring, staffing, personnel rules, programs, and employee benefits.
- Arranges, plans, and organizes meetings while making sure that rules and guidelines are followed.
- Creates administrative records and reports.
- Carries out further tasks as directed.
HR Assistant Responsibilities:
- Preparing timesheets and payroll, processing unemployment claims, keeping track of employee files, recording attendance, and helping with hiring and onboarding, including setting up interviews, reference checks, and background checks.
- Oversee the employee handbook and other HR-related paperwork.
- Fulfill the HR Manager’s requests for all HR-related responsibilities.
- Ensure that staff retention, satisfaction, and relations are all positive.
- Participate in special projects and other tasks as needed.
Requirements and Skills:
- Human resources bachelor’s degree or a similar discipline.
- Working as an HR assistant for more than two years.
- Capacity to manage sensitive and private employee data.
- Capacity to utilize a variety of computer programs and systems.
- Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
- The capacity to set priorities.
