1. Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Technician, 3 Positions
Responsibilities:
- Obtain TCAA licenses after completing a four-year, structured apprentice training program that includes both theory and on-the-job training.
- Being taught by knowledgeable technical people while observing, picking up, and comprehending a broad range of engineering techniques and procedures.
- As the training term goes on, they should be able to show these abilities and procedures by working both alone and collaboratively, following instructions, and contributing more to the department overall.
- Develop your ability to read and comprehend maintenance manuals and other technical information to ascertain the viability and best way to do the tasks at hand.
- Learn to use visual inspection techniques or inspection tools to examine aircraft structures and/or airframe systems and components (such as fuel, hydraulic, and mechanical flight control) in accordance with a specified inspection program.
Experience:
- Aeronautical engineering, aircraft maintenance engineering, or a related engineering profession at a diploma level or higher.
- Knowledge of computer programs
- Concerned about safety
- The capacity to function under pressure.
2. Apprentice Paint and Repair Specialist, 1 Position
Responsibilities:
- In order to prepare an aircraft for flight and customer delivery, assist mechanics with a range of mechanical tasks on different aircraft models, including diagnosing problems and performing necessary disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems.
- Secure, park, and tow aircraft at different hangar and ramp locations.
- Must keep a journal during the apprenticeship time, documenting the duties completed and the abilities acquired.
- To keep the workplace and its associated spaces generally clean and well-maintained.
- Should always keep a polished appearance and behave professionally, whether on or off duty.
- To carry out any additional tasks as delegated that are suitable for the position’s role and grade.
