Store Keeper (Volunteer) – Tindwa Medical and Health Service

Tindwa Medical and Health Service (TMHS) is a locally registered company that provides Medical Services, Emergency Medical Services, Medical Supplies, Production, Waste and Environmental Management, and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS). Currently, TMHS is looking for a Volunteer Store Keeper who will be trained in procurement, specifically in store management. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, committed, and results-driven.

The Store Keeper will be responsible for maintaining and organizing store documentation, ensuring the security of stock, and acting as the key custodian. The role includes receiving and issuing stock, verifying incoming materials, and reconciling them with purchase orders. Additionally, the Store Keeper must track, document, and resolve any discrepancies in received orders while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Managing stock levels to ensure they remain within minimum and maximum thresholds.
  • Keeping up-to-date records of receipts, stock withdrawals, and returns.
  • Handling packing, labeling, and arrangement of stock in the store.
  • Returning non-compliant stock to suppliers and ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the disposal of surplus stock, including documentation, verification, and dispatching.
  • Managing ethical relationships with suppliers and maintaining the supplier database.
  • Handling the shipping of canceled or damaged items back to suppliers.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

Candidates should have strong computer skills with high accuracy in data entry, advanced data analysis and statistical techniques, and excellent oral and written communication skills. They should be adaptable to changes in the work environment, possess a strong sense of confidentiality and ethical responsibility, and be flexible with work schedules based on demand.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Procurement and Logistics
  • At least one year of relevant experience
