Job Brief:
We are seeking an accountant who can assist us in monitoring our accounts and ensuring that we are making prudent financial choices.
Accountant Duties:
- Create and evaluate the operation’s financial reports.
- Find and fix inconsistencies in the financial statements, including the balance sheet.
- Maintain thorough records of all financial transactions, examine patterns, and recognize potential hazards.
- Seek possibilities to boost revenue and save expenses.
- Encourage and take part in legal and regulatory obligations while adhering to corporate guidelines.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing meetings and managing communications.

Accountant Responsibilities:
- Perform financial analysis and audits, including bank reconciliations, general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Compile and handle state and federal reports, payroll, and taxes.
- QuickBooks experience is necessary.
- Perform and evaluate monthly account and general ledger reconciliations.
- Perform trial balance evaluations and final trial balance assessments.
- Conduct research in accounting, especially ad hoc financial analysis.
- Help with cash flow management by handling bad debt and collection processes.
- Keep track of and oversee monetary transactions, such as withdrawals and deposits.
- Keep track of bank and petty cash reconciliations.
- Keep an eye on spending to ensure reporting and correctness.
- Control spending, cash flows, financial shortages, and budgets.
- Keep track of and record financial transactions.
- Keep management-related records and reports up to date.
Requirements and Skills:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline (a CPA or ACCA is preferred)
- Experience: Three years or more of accounting or financial management experience, ideally gained in an educational environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and principles, such as Tally and QuickBooks.
- Additional qualities include the capacity to fulfill deadlines under duress, outstanding communication abilities, and knowledge of regional tax rules and regulations.
