Job Description
The MsingiTek Program Manager will lead a team of five field supervisors, ensuring high-quality implementation of the MsingiTek program across 50 schools in Simanjiro, Tanzania. The role involves monitoring program performance, resolving operational issues, building relationships with government and community stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support five field supervisors, ensuring they know how to use the tools and data provided to them to succeed.
- Set clear expectations and track progress, using data to provide feedback and drive improvement.
- Visit each field supervisor weekly in the field, troubleshooting challenges, reinforcing best practices, and mentoring for stronger execution.
- Foster a culture of accountability, trust, learning, and problem-solving within the team.
- Ensure high-quality implementation by monitoring time on task, hardware functionality, and school engagement across your portfolio of 50 schools.
- Use data to identify risk trends, address gaps, and drive targeted interventions in collaboration with Imagine Worldwide and your government counterparts.
- Continuously assess team efficiency and resource allocation, exploring ways to improve effectiveness and reduce the implementation cost per learner.
- Represent MsingiTek in existing government meetings on a need basis, ensuring alignment with government priorities.
- Maintain strong relationships with education officials and community stakeholders to foster long-term program ownership.
- Participate in weekly check-ins with Imagine Worldwide, sharing data, team and implementation insights, priorities, and most importantly—transparently sharing risks and challenges.
