Job Description
Lake Cement Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Fitter/Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks in a cement plant environment.
Responsibilities
- Cement plant maintenance (Crusher, VRM, Kiln, Ball Mill, Packing)
- Troubleshooting compressors, bag filters, belts, chains
- Lubricant selection & fitment knowledge
- Shutdown/major maintenance experience
- Predictive & preventive maintenance
- HSE procedures and legal knowledge
- Safe execution of all maintenance & inspections
- Prepare daily reports & coordinate with department heads
- Ensure timely availability of spare parts
- Develop junior technicians
- Maintain good housekeeping
Requirements
- VETA Certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Cement plant maintenance experience
- Troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of lubricant selection & fitment
- Shutdown/major maintenance experience
- Predictive & preventive maintenance skills
- HSE procedures and legal knowledge
