You will serve both as a Change Manager on key global initiatives and as a change champion promoting the growth of change management capabilities across Compassion’s global workforce and partners. Your work will help drive awareness, adoption, and retention of strategic initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and serve as a consistent witness of His love.
  • Advocate for child protection, uphold Compassion’s Child Protection commitments, and support incident response when necessary.
  • Engage fully in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
  • Learn and apply Compassion’s AGAPE Change Management model, under the mentorship of a Sr. Change Manager.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to integrate change management into project planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Build trust and partnerships across cultures, acting as a bridge between U.S.-based and international teams.
  • Develop and deliver change management strategies including stakeholder analysis, communication plans, impact assessments, and readiness evaluations.
  • Work alongside Communications and Learning Services to create seamless training and engagement experiences.
  • Contribute to the development and continual improvement of Compassion’s change methodology.
  • Act as a thought leader in change strategy and proactively mitigate risks.

Qualifications

  • Global mindset with the ability to apply Compassion’s change practices across diverse cultural contexts.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in business change, process improvement, communications, and/or project oversight.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural environments; skilled at navigating and building relationships across global teams.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and integrity.
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Relevant Change Management certification (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP) preferred.
  • Ability to overlap U.S. Mountain Time (8am–5pm) by 3–4 hours daily.
  • Flexibility to work with international partners in varied time zones.
