CHAN Competitions Volunteering Opportunities, We are looking for passionate and patriotic volunteers to help make this major international event a success.
The 2024 CHAN Tournament is set to take place in Tanzania from February 1–28, 2024.Note: CHAN refers to the African Nations Championship, a football tournament
As one of the host nations, Tanzania is offering volunteer opportunities for young people willing to dedicate their time and energy to support the preparation and execution of the tournament.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS
- Must be a Tanzanian citizen
- Aged between 18 and 40 years
- Willing to volunteer their time to ensure the success of the tournament
- Must have at least a secondary school education (Form IV and above)
- Proficient in speaking both Swahili and English
- Must be available at all times during the event
- Possess good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Additional skills such as foreign languages, technology proficiency, or experience in sports events will be considered an added advantage
- A recommendation letter from the local government office of your current residence is required
