Architect Job Vacancy
We are seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing architectural concepts from inception to completion, ensuring they meet project specifications, codes, and the Company’s expectations.
Location: Arusha, Tanzania Responsibilities include:
- Develop architectural designs and detailed 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and material selections.
- Monitoring projects from start to finish to ensure high-quality, innovative, and functional designs.
- Develop ideas keeping in mind the building’s usage and environmental impact • Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections.
- Compile project specifications.
- Collaborate and liaise with construction professionals, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present design proposals and construction documents.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, status, and report on the project.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
- Registered/Certified by the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Registration Board.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Studio etc.).
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and sustainability principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills Key Skills and Competencies
- Planning and organizing, which includes prioritizing work tasks to meet strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software.
- Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
- Visual awareness and an eye for detail.
- Communication and project management skills.
