Job Summary:
The applications development specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications that support NBC’s business objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications in line with NBC’s requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design, code, test, and deploy software applications.
- Ensure software applications are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with database systems like SQL Server or Oracle.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
