Ajira Jeshi la Zima Moto (Fire and Rescue Force) Vacancies 2025
ANNOUNCEMENT OF JOB OPPORTUNITIES AT THE FIRE AND RESCUE FORCE
The General Commissioner of the Fire and Rescue Force (Jeshi la Zima Moto), under the authority granted by Section 14(4) of the Fire and Rescue Force Act, Chapter 427, and read together with Regulation 5(1) of the Fire and Rescue Force Employment Regulations of 2008, announces job vacancies at the rank of Constable in the Fire and Rescue Force for qualified young individuals with the following qualifications:
1. Candidates with a Certificate of Secondary Education (Form Four)
Applicant Qualifications:
a) Must be a Tanzanian citizen by birth.
b) Must have a birth certificate.
c) Must have a National Identification Card or an Identification Number issued by the National Identification Authority (NIDA).
d) Must be in good physical and mental health.
e) Must have no criminal record.
f) Must be unmarried.
g) Must have no tattoos on the body.
h) Must have never used any kind of illicit drugs.
i) Must be willing to attend Fire and Rescue professional training.
j) Must have never been employed in the government.
k) Must have a minimum height of 5.7 feet for males and 5.4 feet for females.
l) Must be willing to cover all costs related to the recruitment process if called for interviews.
m) Must be between 18 and 25 years old.
2. Candidates with a Certificate of Secondary Education (Form Four or Form Six) with Additional Skills
Applicants with knowledge and skills in the following fields will be considered:
- Heavy vehicle driving,
- Plumbing,
- Nursing,
- Fire and Rescue services,
- Medicine,
- Helicopter piloting.
Applicant Qualifications:
a) Must meet all the qualifications outlined in Section 1 (a to m).
b) Helicopter pilots must be between 18 and 35 years old.
c) Drivers must have a Class E driving license and be between 18 and 28 years old (those called for interviews will undergo a practical driving test for heavy vehicles).
3. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree
Qualified applicants should have degrees in the following fields:
- Marine Engineering,
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT),
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineering,
- English Language,
- Quantity Surveying,
- Multimedia Technology,
- Economics,
- Law (must have completed practical legal training),
- Education Management,
- Road and Railways Transport Logistics Management,
- Chemical Processing Engineering.
Applicant Qualifications:
a) Must meet all the qualifications outlined in Section 1 (a to l).
b) Must be between 18 and 28 years old.
Application Procedure
All applications should be submitted through the Fire and Rescue Force employment system available at ajira.zimamoto.go.tz. The deadline for application submission is 06, March, 2025.
Applicants must attach the following documents to the system:
a) A handwritten application letter.
b) A copy of the birth certificate.
c) A medical fitness report from a government doctor.
d) A copy of the National Identification Card or NIDA number.
e) A recent passport-size photo.
f) The Form Four examination number.
g) The Form Six examination number (if applicable).
h) Copies of academic and professional certificates from government-recognized institutions.
i) A letter of introduction from the Village/Mtaa Executive Officer.
Important Notes:
- Copies of certificates must be certified by a Commissioner for Oaths or a Magistrate.
- Applications sent by post, hand-delivered, or via email will not be accepted.
- All applicants must include their phone numbers in their application letters.
- Any applicant who submits forged documents or false information will face legal action.
