The Agroforestry Manager will lead efforts to strengthen and improve One Acre Fund\u2019s agroforestry programs, serving over 2 million farm families across nine countries in Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Support agroforestry program leads to meet operational targets and achieve the organization’s vision of one billion trees planted by 2030
- Develop and maintain performance tracking systems to improve program lead performance
- Foster team cohesion and shared learning through regular meetings and knowledge management
- Scope, pilot, and scale new investments to improve program impact and reach
- Facilitate external partnerships and communicate agroforestry program results and plans to external partners

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in agroforestry and landscape restoration in Sub-Saharan Africa
- Leadership experience with demonstrated results in agroforestry, restoration, or related domains
- University or advanced degree in agroforestry, ecology, restoration, or related fields
- Exceptional written and verbal communication to engage a range of audiences, including rural farmers, internal staff, external partners, and organizational leadership
- History of collaboration with primary actors in the forestry and landscape restoration sectors, including implementers, technical resources, and policy-makers
- Experience launching new programs or building successful partnerships
- Experience managing high-level team members and coordinating complex programs
- Penchant for data-driven decision-making with structured analysis and fact-based recommendations
- Willingness to travel within the region up to 25% of the time
- English Fluency. Other preferred languages include Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, Chichewa, Amharic, or French.
