Job Description
This role is responsible for safely operating and maintaining packaging equipment and related processes to achieve optimal effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Operating equipment and managing associated processes & performance in packaging
- Interpreting and implementing production plan for shift
- Operating manual and automatic machines online as per standards
- Ensuring process quality and productivity
- Performing administration work such as tracking and monitoring of processes and taking action when required
- Managing PIMS & POMS and taking corrective action on negative trends
- Using OFR’s (As per triggers)
- Contributing towards AB reports as required
- Ensuring and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
- Training: Min – 9 months on the job training
- Understanding of VPO principles.
