1.Family Planning Intern
Learning Objectives: The Intern will gain an understanding of Tanzania’s policies and guidelines that guide the implementation of Family Planning (FP) interventions, including the application of High-Impact Family Planning practices. The Intern will collaborate with the regional Family Planning team to translate the approved PY4 workplan into field-level activities aimed at addressing the high unmet need for FP in the Tabora region.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in regional FP data reviews to understand FP performance.
- Learn and apply High-Impact Family Planning practices, including scaling up Post-Partum Family Planning (PPFP) services in health facilities.
- Collaborate with Regional and Council Health Management Teams for monthly activity planning.
- Support and coordinate field activities such as integrated FP outreach, FP special service days, FP/immunization integration, Village Health and Nutrition Days (VHNDs), and youth-led outreach events.
- Provide feedback to R/DRCHCOs (RHMT & CHMT) on FP activity implementation, identify gaps, and develop action plans.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in medicine or as a Nurse-Midwife.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.

2.Administrative Intern
The Jhpiego Internship Program offers young professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and mentorship in Office Administration tasks. This internship is designed to provide valuable workplace exposure and improve employability skills.
Position Details:
- Reports to: Senior Operations Manager
- Mentor: Officer, Admin / Assistant, Administrative
- Locations: Mwanza, Geita, Simiyu (1 position per location)

Responsibilities:
- Act as backup staff and receptionist for the office.
- Verify and document all items received, ensuring proper documentation (e.g., FGRNs).
- Manage accommodation invoices, maintain tracking records, and submit to Mwanza.
- Scan and compile invoices for purchase order approvals on Docuvantage.
- Maintain accurate records of office assets and ensure proper tagging.
- Monitor and track courier movements for easy tracking.
- Keep storage areas clean and well-organized.
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on missing invoices.
- Ensure timely payment of utility bills (e.g., electricity, water).
- Oversee the cleanliness and readiness of office spaces, including the conference room.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or Advanced Diploma holder in Business Administration/Management or Public Administration.
- Secretarial or office management/operations training is a plus.
- Willingness to learn, gain workplace experience, and commit to at least three months.
- High integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
- Proficient in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
