Movit Group Is Hiring Country Business Manager (Tanzania), The Country Business Manager will develop and support the implementation of the country’s overall business strategy, manage resources, and establish policies to achieve business goals.

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
Supervises: Regional Business Managers, Trade Marketing Manager, Finance & Admin Manager, and other support staff

  • Distributors (where applicable)

Key Responsibilities & Performance Areas

Sales & Market Execution

Deliver effective sales programs and campaigns to meet market execution needs. Implement and embed new sales initiatives across the country. Provide clarity to trade partners on Route-to-Market strategies. Lead the execution team to improve Distributor Route profitability and ROI.

Champion and support the execution of AVAA for sales and market share growth. Monitor sales performance using key performance indicators to improve distribution effectiveness. Lead market expansion initiatives for improved numeric and weighted distribution. Motivate the team through job clarity, training, coordination, and provision of necessary tools.

Enhance capability and discipline of the execution team for better order generation and delivery. Champion accurate and updated outlet master data. Grow country outlets and share of shelf as per set targets. Support sourcing, vetting, training, evaluation, and sustainability of Distributors.

Implement Distributor Management System (DMS) and Sales Force Automation for improved sales visibility. Define and monitor key metrics for the preferred Route-to-Market approach. Ensure competitive pricing across all product categories. Develop channels through creation of Exclusive Distributors (EDs) and channel architecture mapping.

Financial Management

  • Prepare the Country Sales Department budget as per set guidelines.
  • Monitor and control the allocated budget.
  • Minimize waste within the business.

Risk Management

  • Identify regional risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all business operations.
  • Lead country teams in adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit country sales reports.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
    • Master’s degree in Business Administration (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 5 to 7 years in managing FMCG Industry with an excellent track record in sales execution.

Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
