The Human Resource Manager ensures the efficient operation of the Human Resource department in alignment with the organization’s business objectives. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, and implementing HR-related activities at SBC, while also providing administrative support for daily HR operations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reports to the General Manager.
- Develops and administers the annual budget, ensuring all expenditures are within approved limits.
- Sets priorities, assigns work, and establishes schedules for task completion.
- Liaises with third-party service providers in compliance with SBC policies, monitoring progress and quality of work.
- Ensures compliance with corporate policies and SOPs regarding human resource management at the plant level.
- Implements HR policies and programs related to organization development, performance management, employee training, compensation, benefits, and more.
- Participates in corporate strategic planning by identifying HR-related opportunities and challenges that impact the organization’s short- and long-term goals.
- Recommends accountability and authority limits for subordinate staff, monitors their performance, and takes corrective actions as needed.
- Ensures compliance with legal requirements and government regulations affecting HR functions.
- Advises management on employee relations issues and ensures smooth resolution.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in similar responsibilities.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Strong leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and trade union management, including CBA negotiations.
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Strong knowledge of HR management principles, practices, and procedures.
- Solid understanding of project management principles.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
