The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology Admission Office offers guidance and support to potential students as well as academic departments. It oversees a fair, transparent, and consistent admissions process for certificates, diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, and postgraduate programs. The Admissions Office guarantees adherence to Institute policies and pertinent government laws by collaborating with the government, national organizations, and the larger Institute community on a variety of admissions-related matters. The overall coordination and policy issues related to admissions, curriculum, exams, student records, and loans are important areas of concern.
The admissions office works closely with the departments, centers, DIT campuses, library services (LS), and quality assurance (QA) offices. The department ensures the smooth operation of each student’s academic activities at DIT. The Deputy Principal Academic, Research, and Consultancy (DPARC) office, which answers to the Institute’s Registrar, houses the admission office and serves the DIT main campus, Mwanza Campus, and Myunga Campus.
