Procurement and Logistics Officer (1 Post)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the team to ensure timely completion of activities as per the work plan.
- Ensure procurement procedures and authorization procedures are followed.
- Maintain all office assets, their safety, insurance, tracking movements, regular updates of the asset register, and spot checks.
- Handle travel arrangements for local and international guests and arrange necessary logistics support when required.
- Arrange and collect quotations for purchasing assets and arrange to purchase necessary stationery.
- Assess and organize logistics in terms of transport requirements, receipt, handling, storage, and distribution of supplies, and establish proper recording systems.
- Ensure all office facilities and equipment are functional at all times and oversee arranging repairs, replacements, and maintenance.
- Manage correspondence/letters from outside and supply them to the respective department/section.
- Evaluate and select suppliers.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions.
- Manage the store to ensure all inventory is in order and record stock in and out.
- Work with other departments to develop procurement plans.
Academic Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Procurement & Logistics Management.
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
- PSPTB Certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of e-procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, Oracle, Coupa) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in storekeeping will be an advantage.
- Well conversant with MS Office package, Excel.
Human Resources Officer (2 Posts)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement organizational development strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
- Coordinate general HR practices such as training, recruitment, termination of services, internal transfer, performance management system, and staff orientation.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and counseling.
- Handle employee benefits (SSF, etc.) and health insurance.
- Ensure proper maintenance and updating of all personnel and HR-related documents.
- Prepare and maintain employee leave information.
- Prepare all types of employee payments/staff benefits.
- Prepare HR reports on a monthly basis.
Academic Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Administration, or related subjects.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Human Resources Officer.
- Preferably experience working with microfinance/financial institutions or banks.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, at all levels of the company.
- Ability to work independently, confidently, and proactively, but also as part of a motivated team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office package.
Assistant Corporate Secretary (1 Post)
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing, preparing agendas for, and taking minutes of board meetings and annual general meetings (AGMs).
- Deal with correspondence, collate information, and write reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated to relevant company stakeholders.
- Contribute to meeting discussions as required and advise management on legal, governance, accounting, and tax implications of proposed policies.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action.
- Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
- Take responsibility for the health and safety of employees and manage insurance and property issues.
- Develop and oversee systems to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, legal, and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Assist in coordinating system, compliance, and other audits as required.
- Assist in handling and managing disciplinary procedures and cases, initiate corrective actions, liaise with relevant parties, and ensure follow-up actions.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating risks to which the company may be exposed.
Academic Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Must possess a Law degree with professional experience.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, at all levels of the company.
- Ability to make sound judgment calls independently when presented with difficult decisions.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in a law firm practicing corporate and commercial law.
- Preferably experience working as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and cases litigation.
- In-depth knowledge of Microfinance Laws and regulations will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, but also as part of a motivated team.
- Well conversant with MS Office packages.
